My procrastination knows no bounds

I used to beat myself up about the fact that I put everything off until the last minute, now I just go with it, knowing that I will eventually get done what needs to be done (albeit with late fees, or all night paper writing, or running around like a crazy person the morning a flight leaves because I haven`t packed).

I have a paper due on sunday. This afternoon, when Thomas was peacefully napping, I sat at my desk, got all my research in order beside me, made a fresh pot of coffee, opened up my outline to start, and then did this………..

Wire wrapped pearl pendant.

If my paper were about trying to make jewelry for the first time I would be in great shape, but it isn`t. Now I have several cute little silver pendants, two silver wire christmas trees, and the outline of a paper. Excellent.

This isn`t exactly what I was going for. I wanted to make a wire sphere, like a ball of yarn, with a glass bead inside that was just visible. It was a lot harder than it seemed.

After this, I decided it was time to get down to business and start working

So, naturally, I made these little silver christmas trees out of left over silver wire.

Oh me! Will I never learn? If you`re saying “Not at this point Carys” then you`re probably right.
